Update on Constitutional Amendments

The Board of Directors (BoD) hereby shares with the congregation the draft of the proposed constitutional amendments prepared by the Constitution Amendment Committee.
Please note that this document is a draft and is not considered the new constitution unless and until it is reviewed, vetted, and approved by a two-thirds (2/3) majority of the voting members of the congregation.
Next Steps
1. Review & Feedback
(Next Two Weeks: April 26 – May 15, 2026)
Congregation members are encouraged to carefully review the proposed amendments and submit feedback. Comments may be shared by placing them in the designated folder on the masjid’s Facebook page or by using the comment box available at the masjid.
2. Open House Discussion
(Announcement will be sent shortly)
An open house session will be hosted by the BoD to discuss community feedback and any suggested revisions. Members of the Constitution Amendment Committee will be present to clarify questions and address concerns.
3. Voting Process
The BoD will appoint a voting committee to oversee the voting process on the proposed amendments.
