Key Updates and Decisions

• Constitution Draft: The initial draft of the constitution has been submitted to the Shoora Council and is currently under review.
• Masjid Expansion Committee: A committee has been formally established to oversee the masjid expansion project. The committee members are: Br. Badr, Br. Hani, Br. Asif, Br. Lehcon, Br. Magdi, Br. Ali, Br. Eslam, and Br. Zia. The committee will provide ongoing updates and report regularly to the Shoora.
• Eid al-Adha Arrangements: The Eid al-Adha prayer and related activities will be held at the convention center. Coordination efforts are being led by Br. Hussien and Br. Asif.
• Islamic School Project: Progress continues on the Islamic School project, including the acquisition of city permits and completion of required inspections. A dedicated committee has been formed to manage this initiative. Members include: Br. Wael, Br. Nader, Br. Zia, Imam Mansour, Br. Fathalah al Meziany, Sis. Amira Ali, Sis. Manal Shaheen, and Sis. Maliha. The committee will report to the Shoora on a regular basis.
• Budget Review: The Shoora Council will review the most recent budget to assess expenditures and prioritize funding needs across ongoing and completed projects.
