• Ramadan Preparations: Planning for community iftars (Friday through Sunday), parking coordination, volunteer teams, supplies, a fundraising night, an interfaith iftar, and additional support for the imam during Ramadan.
• Masjid Maintenance: Painting of the downstairs masjid is scheduled to begin on January 23, 2026, with an estimated duration of 16 days.
• Education & Outreach: Discussion included website enhancements, English language classes for newcomers, expansion of community services, and the development of a coaching program introducing Islam.
• Houses Demolition and Masjid Expansion Plans:
  • The committee is awaiting a final decision regarding house removal versus demolition. An advertisement will be shared with the community and the public to explore the possibility of house removal.
  • A proposal for masjid expansion was discussed. The feasibility study is estimated at $18,000, with a written proposal submitted in the amount of $12,000. The housing project remains temporarily on hold.
• Youth & Education: A Quran competition will be incorporated into the Sunday School program.
