Shoora General Updates
- The Imam’s visa process is still in progress.
- The Maintenance Committee is continuing work on the kitchen remodel, bathroom cabinet installation, new microphone setup, and routine masjid upkeep.
- The Education Committee reports steady Sunday School growth and ongoing Islamic classes (Qur’an, tafseer, and related studies) led by the Imam.
- The Youth Group Program is growing and operating under Shoora oversight. Activities are managed by the appointed program lead, who receives a small stipend.

Masjid Expansion Project
- The two masjid-owned houses will be removed to create additional parking.
- Phase I will add new rooms to the downstairs area while keeping the kitchen and washroom; bathrooms will be updated.
- Phase II will expand the upstairs hall to serve as the women’s prayer area.

Highway 43 Land Project
- Required permits have been approved by Pitt County and the City of Greenville.
- Ground preparation for the cemetery is underway. The estimated total cost for the picnic area, groundwork, and cemetery development is $450,000–$500,000.

Upcoming Plans and Events
- Health Day will be organized by the Education Committee.
- The Open House / Interfaith Event will be organized by the Public Relations Committee.

Additional Initiatives
- Kickoff of several new projects is underway.
- Work continues on updating the masjid’s organizational status to qualify for grants and donation programs.
- Food bank box distribution is being planned to support the broader community and strengthen trust as a service-oriented religious institution.
